Low impact strength workout for beginners and seniors (osteoporosis safe!)

This strength workout for beginners will teach you the fundamentals and support you in building a foundation of fitness that will help you live a long active life. It’s osteoporosis safe and you will learn essential skills in improving balance, coordination, muscular strength, and mobility.

In 20 minutes you can build a strong foundation with this strength training workout for beginners at home to:

  • Strengthen and build lean muscle
  • Reduce body fat, chronic pain, and stress
  • Enhance cardiovascular and muscular endurance
  • Improve balance, stability, flexibility, and mobility

All you need to get started is a chair, set of hand weights or water bottles, and a positive attitude. After a four minute warm up, we have 15 exercises to do together performed for 45 seconds of work with 15 seconds of rest between movements. Each time you use the routine challenge yourself to get more reps in the time interval or increase the weight you are lifting. Practice makes progress and you can use this video 2-3 times per week for incredible fitness benefits.
