Are you looking for a fitness routine that is safe to do after abdominal surgery? Well I’ve got just the movement medicine to make your body happy! This video was a special request from one of my Patreon members (these are the folks that contribute a small monetary amount monthly to help the channel grow, I call them my board of directors as they are investors!). This specific Patreon had experienced quite a challenging surgery and wanted to safely return to activity. She emailed me and shared her story and I immediately got to work creating this routine for her. Hopefully it helps you too!

Whether it’s a c-section, appendectomy or something else, I know how hard it can be to get back to exercise after you’ve had abdominal surgery. Some doctors advise waiting 6-8 weeks before resuming activity, but each person is different. Always talk to your doctor before you start any workout program – this is especially important if you are looking to start a post surgery workout or pregnancy exercise program.

The following exercises are designed to reduce the risk of complications such as abdominal weakness or low back pain following your ab surgery. These exercises should not be painful to do. It is important to do them daily as outlined in this video after getting doctor approval. I will teach you how to work the abs from the inside out gently, both helping to heal your body, as well as strengthen your core.
