Do you have chest pain? Heres a simple self massage technique you can do to relieve chest pain and release tension in your upper body. Improve your posture, your workout performance, and your physique all with this quick chest muscle massage technique!
You can also contact me for virtual coaching and then we can do workouts together on your own schedule 😉
If you sit at a desk, work on a computer, type on a iPhone, love your pushups, planks, chair cardio, and yoga, or even have had breast surgery, chances are your chest muscles are TIGHT. Without the right recovery techniques, too much chest tension can lead to poor movement patterns or even a chest muscle injury. In fact, many of my virtual coaching clients have come to me with pain in their chest and shoulders that prevents them from fully enjoying their favorite workouts. This is especially true for those who do a lot of Hurt Foot Fitness chair cardio or strength workouts. Without proper cross training activities, all of the pushing movements can lead to a repetitive stress injury in the muscles in your chest. In fact that’s the reason I was inspired to film this video, to help one of my virtual coaching clients heal from chest muscle overuse! Now I work with this client on balanced upper body strength training and chest muscle repair to help her heal from a chest muscle pull and get back to the chair cardio workouts she loves. This chest muscle technique will be helpful if you are looking to release tight chest muscles, heal chest muscle injury, improve your posture, have better performance for strength workouts, or just simply want to give your upper body some TLC. All you will need to get started is a set of Yoga Tune Up Therapy balls, a yoga block and a mat!
