I believe exercise can be movement medicine for diabetes. This 10 minute routine has the best diabetes at home workout to support you in your health journey.

Regular physical activity can help you manage Type 2 diabetes. According to the ADA, your fitness routine should incorporate multiple kinds of exercise, including aerobics and strength training. And doing several different activities you enjoy can help you make exercise a part of your daily life. It’s helpful to check with your healthcare provider about safety and best practices before you get started. Workouts can do all kinds of things for you, like lower your blood sugar and blood pressure, boost your energy, and help you sleep better. If physical, high-impact exercises aren’t for you, there are plenty of other options. An exercise routine that includes aerobics and strength training may improve blood sugar levels and overall health in people with Type 2 diabetes.

At least 30 minutes of aerobic activity 5 days a week can help the insulin in your body work better. We’re talking exercise that gets your heart and lungs going and kicks your blood flow into a higher gear.
