Going for a gentle walk after a meal has so many health benefits. Walking after eating can reduce gas and bloating, regulate blood sugar, improve sleep, lower blood pressure, help in weight loss, and improve mental health. Im Caroline Jordan your certified health and fitness coach here to guide you through a gentle after meal indoor walk to help with digestion and health. Please keep in mind high-intensity exercise is not always a good idea post eating and its important to check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. This walk offers just the right amount of slow movement to help you in post meal health. Walking for digestion facts and tips:

  • Walking after eating can help digestion, blood sugar, heart health, weight loss, and sleep.
  • To get the most benefits, walk for 10 minutes after each meal (about 3 times a day).
  • Keep it slow. Walking too fast right after a meal can upset your stomach.

  • Step heel tap forward
  • March with opposite knee tap
  • Step touch with arm jack
  • butt kickers
  • side tap with arms kick out
  • walk with bicep curl
  • Step lateral raise
  • Step heel tap back
  • out and ins
  • step with crunch
  • step with calf stretch
  • Step hamstring stretch
