Empowering Strength: A Workout for Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors

This workout for breast cancer patients and survivors incorporates movements that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall health.
Each year in the United States, about 240,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,100 in men. About 42,000 women and 500 men in the U.S. die each year from breast cancer. Ive worked with many clients 1-1 through breast cancer treatment and have helped many breast cancer survivors through the videos on my Youtube channel. In fact, many of my Patreon members are breast cancer survivors and specifically requested content to support those going through treatment. Thats why I’m thrilled to introduce a specially crafted workout: “Workout for Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors.” This session is not just about exercise; it’s a testament to the strength that resides in each one of you, whether you’re in the midst of treatment or proudly standing as a survivor.
The Healing Power of Exercise: A Workout Tailored for You
Exercise is one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Research has shown that women who exercise have an improved quality of life and have fewer side effects during and following treatment. Exercise has also been shown to enhance overall health and wellness, improve mood, reduce fatigue, and increase stamina. Some research suggests that exercise may reduce the chances of a breast cancer recurrence. For those facing the challenges of breast cancer, exercise can be a powerful ally in the journey towards recovery and well-being. This workout is designed with utmost care, incorporating movements that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall health. It’s a reminder that, no matter the circumstance, your body is capable of incredible things.
Key Components of the Workout:
- Low Impact Cardio: Friendly on the joints and invigorating for the heart.
- Gentle Strength Training: Engage in exercises that promote strength without causing strain, focusing on rebuilding and maintaining muscle tone.
- Mindful Movement: Incorporate elements of mindfulness and breathwork to foster a connection between body and mind, supporting overall well-being.
- Community and Support: Recognize that you’re not alone on this journey. The workout is an opportunity to connect with a community of individuals who understand and share in your experiences.
So join me in this all standing 15 minute follow along routine that includes low impact cardio and compound multi muscle strength exercises you can do to keep your body and mind strong. As your certified health and fitness coach I am here to help you use movement as medicine, but as always you want to check with your doctor or health team for personalized exercise recommendations. You can show them this video in advance for permission – I have so many doctors recommending their patients to my videos for a daily dose of uplifting exercise. Are you ready to get moving? Letβs do this thing.
